Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

We aim to respond to all return requests within 10 business days of receiving your enquiry.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your journal must be unwritten in, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging. Journals that have been written in, highlighted, or show signs of use will not be accepted for return. Please ensure the journal is securely packaged when returning it to prevent damage in transit.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to the address that will be provided to you once your request to return has been accepted.  We are situated in South Africa and do not ship printed journals to countries outside of South Africa.  Only PDF/Digital copies are available outside of South Africa. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item was received damaged or incorrect, in which case we will cover the return shipping costs.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Please note that physical journal orders are currently shipped within South Africa only. International customers are welcome to purchase our PDF digital downloads, which are available worldwide.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period

 
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at elouisescheeperssolideogloria@gmail.com. Please note that refund processing times may vary depending on your payment method. PayPal refunds may take additional time to reflect in your account beyond the 10 business days, depending on PayPal's processing times. If you have not received your refund after 15 business days, please contact us at elouisescheeperssolideogloria@gmail.com. If the item was purchased as a gift and returned by the recipient, please note that the refund will be issued to the original purchaser's payment method, as we are unable to process refunds to a different account.

 

PDF/Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of PDF downloads are final and non-refundable once the file has been accessed or downloaded. If you experience a technical issue with your download (such as a corrupted or undeliverable file), please contact us within 7 days of purchase at elouisescheeperssolideogloria@gmail.com and we will resolve the issue promptly.

 

South African Customers

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 in the event of receiving a defective product.
